Re: Windows XP

Here are some of the drivers located at HP. What is needed is the name of the chipset and CPU/Processor installed. If you will download CPU-Z and run it and then post the chipset name and processor here.

Re: Windows XP

I have HP Pavilion Dv6000 part number GA378UA#ABA that purchased from Circuit City @ july 2007. Under Device manager of Vista i have the following.

Intel Core Duo CPU T2450 @ 2.00GHz. (Processor)

Mobile Intel 945GM/GU Express  Chipset Family (intergrate display)

Intel PRO/100 VE Network Connection(Intergrate network)

Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection

According to HP web site.

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareList?os=228&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&product=1842155

It has sp33411_NVIDIA nForce Chipset Driver and Network Controller and also has  sp35445_AMD Processor Update for Microsoft Windows XP

Can someone please tell me if HP only provide XP drivers for ndivia hardware but not intel?

Where can i fund XP drivers for hardware that have (intel)?

What option do I have if I want to go from Vista to XP?

Thanks,

Re: Windows XP

The driver that I provided will work for the chipset your laptop has. The wireless driver will also be from Intel and it is here. The touchpad driver you can use from the HP driver page.
