Wireless Connection

Hello,

I have laptop "hp pavilion dv5 1126em" and I installed windows 7 Uitimate

I installed all wireless network drivers and software and it was installed sucessfully

but,

when I connect to any wireless network to access to internet  , I connect to the network but "local area network"

not to the internet

please, Any help to this problem

may be another drivers and software to windows 7 32-bit

Hi, what antivirus or firewall do you have? I have seen similar troubles when Norton Antivirus was installed. If you can connect to a network but not to the internet, the problem is the default getaway. However, because the default getaway is mostly the same IP address as the wireless router, the problem might be a firewall or an antivirus in the operating system...

I have "Avira  premium security suite"  Antivirus.it has firewall feature

I think it is not a problem

My problem was solved . yes the antivirus prevented me to connect to the internet
