I have been using the same genealogy site for many years and on this HP G72 notebook for nearly a year with no problem. About two weeks ago I found that I could no longer use their links. A little yellow flash outlined in red with a red exclamation mark flashes briefly on the cursor.

This problem only occurs on this site and this PC.

The tech guys on the genealogy site advised me to upgrade to internet explorer nine and adobe reader x.

This I have done but the problem persists.

This notebook runs on Windows seven.

Any ideas on curing the problem please
