hi, hello, i am new to this forum. please bear with me...

 

 

i have problem. i wanted to downgrade my operating system. my laptop model is presario CQ60 model number 207EE. for now i have windows vista, i wanted to change it to windows xp. because i love games. but the problem not much games support vista, most of it support xp. would some one please help me, i will appreciate too much.

Hi,

First make Vista backup. How to do it all informations here

 

Be sure that You are using WinXP SP2 version. If you haven't got SP2 version here you can download this service pack

and here You have got guide how to slipstream this file with Your system again by nLite.

In this program You can even burn Your new XP cd with this driver.

Nvidia chipset here (First install this and reboot. Don't install only Network Management Tools (v67.91) "Sedona" from this package)

 

MS-UAA for SP2 (required with a reboot before Audio, Modem and Graphic driver) here

 

MS-UAA for SP3 (required with a reboot before Audio, Modem and Graphic driver) here

 

Nvidia GeForce 8200M G

 

   Modded Nvidia drivers ver 186.81.

 

   How to install them in XP:
   1. Download driver here, double click and select extract,
   2. Download from this site with drivers also INF Modified and replace original INF in extracted folder,
   3. Install & reboot.

 
Conexant High-Definition Audio here

Unzip to a folder..use Device Manager,right click "Audio Device on HD",choose Update driver,
No to connect,
Install from a list or specific location,
Select Don't Search, I will choose the driver to install,
For the Hardware Type select 'Show All Devices'
Remove the check from "Show Compatible Hardware" and click on "Have Disk".
Next...browse to the unzipped folder and choose the "WiSVHe5.inf".
Ignore XP when it complains.
Reboot.

Do manual installation

 

Go to device manager, right click unknown device,

Choose to update driver, No to connect,

Choose install from a list or specific location, Don't search, Have disk,

Browse to the location of machine.inf.

Do it for the rest of unknown devices.
