When booted in BIOS mode the issue that is occurring with the TPM module does not exist and BitLocker can easily be enabled.
When booted in UEFI mode the TPM key protectors cannot be added to the system as it says that the TPM is ready with reduced functionality.
I have heard that there is an issue with the 8460p and the TPM firmware with UEFI but have not been able to find any documentation to that effect.
What can be done to get the TPM fully functional under UEFI mode? This system is on the latest .61 BIOS. All updates that are currently available have been applied. The only difference in getting BitLocker to run with Windows X vs. BitLocker not running due to the TPM is booting in Legacy (BIOS) or UEFI Modes.
I'm thinking there is a bug in the UEFI mode for this model.
