Product: hp 255 g5
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi everybody, I hope you can help me with this problem: I got a new hp 255 g5 notebook, and installed Win 7 pro. Everything is working fine except for the airplane mode (f12): is there any specific keyboard driver which makes it work? I have already tried to update all the drivers, to install hp system event utility and hp hotkey support, to uninstall all of them, to update the bios, to use Microsoft hotfixes, etc. to no avail. Please, avoid simple suggestions and answer only if you already know the issue or have a specific competence in this field. Thank you very much! 🙂

 

PS

On Win 10 the problem is not showing (so it is no hardware issue).

Hp technical assistance was of absolutely no use in my case.
