Hello Support team,
I have been having the problem for installing the software of HP Scanjet G3110.
I downloaded the latest version of software from the web (setup_full_G3110_20_0_0_02)
but the attached error window keep coming up at the very beginning of installation.
Even I tried a lot of solutions by contacting HP Japan, since this scanner is not currently sold in Japan they didn't know how to solve.
The things I have been trying are written below:
- Delete scanner driver from "device and printer", disconnect all the USB from printer and try to install software
- Downloaded file "Realtek USB and PCIe Media Card Reader Drives" and update
- BIOS update from HP website
- Connect USB cable fro printer directly to PC(not through USB hub)
- Try to do [HP Print and Scan Doctor for Windows] from HP website
Please kindly let me know what other things I can do to solve this problem.
I could make jpeg or png file but cannot take PDF with the scanner, which is big problem for me...
