I just bought at Best Buy online an HP Omen model17-w053dx laptop (product number: W2N48UA).
I checked the specs on your website and they don't match with the ones on the Best Buy website at the following link where I purchased it:
Who is wrong?
Thank you!

Welcome to HP Forums,
this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips,
Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂
As I understand you want to know about the CD/DVD burning programs and the product key for windows,
The windows OS preinstalled on your computer does not have a physical product key as it's inbuilt to the computer.
Also for your burning program I recommend you check the local stores or websites for Cyberlink DVD creator or Nero burner as your model wasn't shipped with any additional softwares as such, please click here for details.
Feel free to post your query for any other assistance as well,
It's been a pleasure interacting with you and I hope you have a good day ahead.
If you wish to show appreciation for my efforts,

This is the one from HP: http://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c05310196
But after going through HP part surfer for the product number, I think Best Buy would be the correct one.
I will escalate this. Someone from HP would help you.
Meanwhile you can know the actual specs of your new notebook by running this application: https://www.piriform.com/speccy

@ Erikx
Thank you for posting on HP Forums,
The Riddle_Decipher is at your service.
As I Understand you want to know about the difference in parts and the price on the HP Omen purchased recently,
I must let you know that there is no right or wrong in this scenario, considering the PC is customizable and you have the option of choosing which parts go into your product before purchasing it on the HP store: Click here for details.
The PC has to be pre-customized at the store with their own options and offers, that's the reason its different,
That said, If you chose a specific part and that isn't available after order, either contact the store to find why its missing or let me know so that I can help you further.
Thank you @visruth for having our back, while we were out for the day 😉
Keep me posted,
If the information I've provided was helpful,
give us some reinforcement by clicking the solution and kudos buttons,
that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!
Good Luck.

Thank you Riddle for your kind reply,
I understand that a pc can be customized, but I bought a laptop model 17-w053dx that Best Buy sells with almost totally different and upgraded specs compared to the ones on your website.
So if I understood what you wrote nowadays also a laptop is customized and Best Buy changed the original HP parts?
I would like to be sure that I have the laptop I ordered before I do all the set up in order to check in the computer its specs.
Anyway the specs written on the box match the Best Buy ones, but I found that there isn't the label sticked under the laptop, usually on the battery door, with the serial number and the operating system as I was used to see on the others laptops I bought in the past.
Is it normal that its lacking of it?
Thank you again for your precious help!
Christian

Thank you for the update,
I appreciate your time and efforts,
To find more about the sticker: Click here as it's in different places depending on the product you have.
And you've got me right, the parts have been customized by BestBuy as laptops are most definitely customizable 🙂
If the specifications of your product match the box, that should be all you need.
Although, that said let me know if you need any other assistance 🙂
It's been a pleasure interacting with your and I hope you have a good day ahead.

Thank you very much Riddle for your kind help!
I will let you know soon if the specs written on the box match the laptop, since the Geek Squad at Best Buy will set it up for me during this week.
All the best,

Hi Riddle,
the laptop set up is done and luckily the specs of the pc are the ones written on the Best Buy website and on the box.
Once it appeared the desktop the only icon shown is the "Recycle bin" while I was used to find also the icons of all the pre-installed programs like Adobe reader, DvD Player, CD burning....since the laptop has a DvD/CD drive.
That you know this laptop model doesn't come with any pre-installed programs?
Thank you!

Hi Riddle,
If you can please let me know if the HP Omen 17 laptop comes with a CD/DvD burning program, since it has a CD/DvD drive?
And also I can't find the Windows 25 digit product key code that usually is under the laptop or under the battery.
Thank you.
Best regards,
Christian H.
