Product: An000na
Operating System: Linux
Hi
Linux kernel 4.9 displays errors relating to the acpi impmentation in my laptop BIOS. The feedback from the Intel engineer who looked at it is that the acpi is not written to the spec and needs to be fixed by HP. The acpi spec states that the DSW method takes 3 parameters, but the acpi declares only 1.
Full details of the error are at
https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=191511
This may also Impact on the fact that at least under Linux, this computer does not reliably go to sleep, often rebooting.
I am using the latest BIOS from the HP support site.
