HP stream 13
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I just bought a new laptop which is HP stream 13 that's supposed to come with a free 1 year subscription to Microsoft Office 365. But when im trying to activate it, it says that my email is not associated with this office product. so, how can i fix this? and, was it supposed to be preinstalled already in the notebook, why does the guy from the store plugged in a usb to install microsoft office. anyone?

Hello;

Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!

Office 365 is a subscription service and it can be configured on a PC in several different ways.

One of these ways is that your PC comes only with a subscription code and you they have to download and install the software from Microsoft.

Since the person from "the store" used a USB stick, my guess is that they installed from there instead of going to Microsoft to get the download.

We can do nothing about add-in products on this forum; instead, you have to contact HP Customer Support directly to deal with these issues.
