Hello,
I have a HP Notebook PC - 15-r213ns (ENERGY STAR) with windows 8.1
Last night, after a windows update, the hotkeys for brightness (F2 and F3) the volume (F7 and F8), wifi (F12) and all the other ones have stopped working. I can still change the brightness and volume through windows but i cant do it anymore using the keys.
The functions keys do work, like F5 refresh or F3 browse. I have noticed that before i had to press the FN key for this and now it does it without the FN + Fx, so i suppose the windows update must have changed somthing here.
They used to work fine before the update. I have re-installed the display drivers (NVIDIA G-FORCE 820-M) and looked for new drivers or updated drivers using HP Support asistant but everything is up to date.
I was looking for hot key drivers in the HP drivers page for my product but couldnt find any keyboard, hotkeys related software or drivers.
any suggestions?
thanks in advance,
Marco
