Hey there,

I bought my HP pavilion a few weeks ago and I keep accidentally turning off my touchpad (I don't know how) and struggle to reactivate it. It's the only downside I've noticed with this laptop.

I was wondering how can I stop this from happening? I can't find a way to disable this.

Many thanks in advance.

I have tried both of those, the double tap appears to have no affect.

I did however, find my solution here:

If you double tap on left top corner of the pad, it would be activated or deactivated.

You can turn off this by changing the settings in Control Panel>Mouse....

Wish you luck,
Karthik
