Hi, I just purchased microsoft office for my new Envy 360. I only needed it for microsoft word. I feel like Word shouldve been a free software but i seem to recall it being abled for only a limited trial period. DOes anyone know if Word is free or if i was right to have purchased Office?

Hi:
You are correct.
Microsoft only offers free trial software of Office (normally 30 days).
After the trial period expires, you have to buy it, or it won't work anymore.
You were right to purchase Office.
Even if you only need Word, buying MS Word separately without the rest of the MS Office suite is pretty expensive anyway.
The only free Word-type app that comes with your PC is Wordpad.
