HP 250 15.6 inch G9 Notebook PC (511V0AV)

I am a virtual worker and have to access many websites via a VPN so that I can gain access. I recently received a new HP laptop and since then I have not been able to properly use these websites. The one I could access and use eventually after changing some of my popup blocker settings and such, but there is another site I am not able to access at all and it's really frustrating as I use these sites daily. I have tried everything that the internet says, I have done cache and browser clearing and nothing. Anyone that can please help me.

You said you "received" this new laptop, so is it something you bought, or is it something your work issued you?

Hello there! I bought the laptop just a bad choice of words. There are no restriction on it from my work and is completely managed by me.

OK, I asked because I have used work-provided laptops and they always came with a LOT of restrictions applied.

My guess, since this is a new laptop, probably running Win11, is that you are using the MS default browser Edge -- and that is a mistake as MS has blocked it from doing LOTS of stuff, including website access and file downloads.

My suggestion is for you to try a different browser -- Firefox, Opera, or Vivaldi -- and see if they have the same issues.
