Hello,

Recently i started renewing my HP driverpacks in SCCM. I started doing this with HP Softpaq Download Manager. I downloaded all the necessary drivers and installed them during SCCM install task sequence. Everything installed properly. When i went to check the device manager and opened up HP lt4112 Gobi 4G Module i saw that the driver vendor is Microsoft and the version is 10.0.10586.0. When i opened up Softpaq Download Manager and checked for updates it showed me that the HP lt4112 Gobi 4G Module wasn't installed at all. Also it showed me that the driver version should be 12.1803.5.7. So i tried installing the driver again through Softpaq Download Manager. Nothing really changed in device manager. The vendor and the version are still the same. So my questions:

  1. Why are the driver versions between device manager and Softpaq Download Manager different ?
  2. Why did the Softpaq download manager show me that the HP 4G module driver was not installed although it actually was and everything worked as intended ?
