HI @ All - i have recently upgraded from windows 7 ultimate to windows 10 pro, since then i have experienced errors left, right & centre... Compatibilty issues, Malware, Bloatware, Spyware etc.. (Fixes are easy - for those without the cash for activated software, google your windows os name + version 32/64-bit + the word "freeware") Most antivirus software are either shareware or trial, however i recommend EaseUs (or) Iobit - for anti-virus, anti-malware & anti-spyware, also for back-ups, data-recovery etc... Look for sites that offer an online virus scan of the files, where the download files are shown, they're safest option out there...
However my biggest reason for my post here.. Having seen on google searches, Hp's feedback & comments section as well as Microsoft's, that majority of people are facing issues with External Hard Drives, Printers, Flash Drives, etc... that everyone is struggling with USB Ports that are not recognizing the devices when connected to their windows 10 os, and after having tried HP and Microsoft's Troubleshooting Guides that SIMPLY do not work on windows 10, as both Companies mostly cover software updates & driver file updates up to windows 8.1 ONLY... i have found a neat site that offers Software & Drivers for devices, i placed the link at bottom of my post, click or copy and paste into browser windows search box, wait for site to load & click "CTRL + F" type your info of device or driver in search field & scroll down results on current page till highlighted field contains your queried results... click on file, download, (remember to right click on downloaded file in downloads folder & tick unblock box - if anti-virus blocks download), open file, install downloaded file by "right click"then"run in compatibility mode"- select "test software"and select save and keep settings for this program once you find it works either in windows 8, 7, XP, 2000 etc... mode...
Thats it, now your usb ports will read your device easily...
Hugs @ all & i hope your problem got solved... Please use link below for driver downloads...
