Envy x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi all,

I am going to buy Envy x360 laptop with 1TB, 8GB RAM, WIN10, i5 6th Gen., 2GB Graphics NVIDIA from a random shop with good price. The shop from where I am going to buy this HP laptop is not HP store. To avoid some frauds with me what kind of prevention should I take?  They are providing me more 2 years warranty with the same cost of the device. So want to validate whether it is right from HP or not. How can I validate invoice or bill which I will receive, like whether it is applicable in HP support or not?  You can add more things which I need to prevent while buying my first HP laptop.

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

Why do you want to go like this?

Are you not willing to buy from HP store? HP warranty is what you need after the purchase not 3rd party warranty.

If it is India online seller, see this HP advisory: http://www8.hp.com/in/en/campaigns/hp-customer-advisory/

Thanks for quick reply!

I am buying a laptop from a shop which is in Mumbai-India and they are giving me laptop in very good price with all 2 years extended warranty. I like all the things they are providing so I want to buy from that shop but I want to check if I am buying a laptop from any shop(I don't know they are authorized hp dealer or not) which things should I check to be sure that all are fine?
