I have a new HP Touchscreen Laptop running Windows 10, 64 Bit. I am using a new HP Officejet Pro 8100 Wireless Printer. The printer is working wirelessly as long as I get up, turn the printer power on and hit print for the document or spreadsheet I need printed. I successfully installed HP SP77381, HP Wireless Button Drive, which according to the Office Assistant needed to be downloaded.
There are no LED displays on this inexpensive HP Laptop. No where can I locate the program or button for turning the printer on from my laptop. This would be usefull since my printer will shut itself down after a period of time if not used withing a certain period of time.
Can you tell me where this button may be located and if not, is it possible to configure the printer so that the printer does not shut down unless I manually press the power button?
Thank you.

The Wireless Button Driver is for configuring a button on your laptop (usually, one of the "F" keys) to enable/disable wireless -- on your laptop.
It has nothing whatsoever to do with your printer.
And, it has no way of turning on/off your printer.
