I have a HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 4645 e-All in One printer. So to use it I'd downloaded a Basic Driver from the HP official site http://support.hp.com/in-en/product/HP-Deskjet-Ink-Advantage-4640-e-All-in-One-Printer-series/530504... . But when I tried to install it, I was getting a message that "File is corrupted". So I deleted that Driver. And after some time my laptop is shutting down frequently on its own with a blue screen error message. I also restored my laptop to a earlier time point but it has no effect on this error.the blue screen with error messageI am inserting the image of that blue screen with the error message,so please see it.

I'll be very grateful if you can find a solution for that.

Thanks for taking an interest in the HP Support Forums! After reading your post I see that you are getting blue screen issue after uninstalling driver. I would like to help you out with this issue today.

Boot to Last Known Good Configuration.

  • Turn off the printer.
  • Press the Power button to start the computer.
  • Repeatedly press the f8 key.
  • On the Advanced Boot Options screen, select Last Known Good Configuration.
  • Then update the Bios and HP drivers.

Click here and follow the steps mentioned below Use windows advanced boot options in the document.

Thanks for your help, I have tried this method but it does not solve the issue. Same error message with blue screen is showing after some interval of time.

Hi @Hardik_Poonia, I am the @Chimney_83. It looks like you were interacting with @sandytechy20, but he is out of the office today so I'll take over from here.

 

Thanks for the reply and trying the suggested steps. The error you are facing could be due to any hardware or software related. 

Have you made any hardware changes on your computer?

 

Recommend you to install the Hotfix provided by Microsoft. Click here to download the hotfix. 

To make sure that all the components are working fine, please run a system test on your computer. Click here for assistance. 

Run HP Support Assistant to make sure all the drivers are updated. Click here to know more.
