Hi@ava43,

Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!

I see you are experiencing password issues with the HP Chromebook.

I have a few recommendations

  1. Launch Chrome.
  2. Go to the “People” section.
  3. Go to “Screen lock” and log in with your credentials if it prompts you to.
  4. Toggle the option “Show lock screen when waking from sleep” to OFF.
  5. Exit the page.

From the "Screen lock and sign-in" area of your settings, you can also turn off the password requirement by toggling off the "Show lock screen when waking from sleep" option.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
