bought this laptop used. a friend put linux on it and I hated it. being used, i had to find a copy of windows to recover my machine to a useable platform. found a copy of windows 7 home premium. figured out how to set the bios to boot legacy OS. loaded drivers. went to AMD to get the chipset drivers. have gone through the posts on here and cannot find a solution.
it is still missing dll files and card reader drivers.
specifically, missing pci driver, and ethernet controller. funny thing about it, wireless works fine. maybe a little slow...
I am attempting to run Presonus Studio One Artist software for music production.
everything about this machine is stock, except the RAM, upgraded to 8gb.

Hi:
Use the W7 drivers and software from the HP 2000z-2a00 on your model. Do not use the BIOS or firmware files.
The PCI device needs the Realtek card reader driver found under the storage section.
The ethernet controller needs the Realtek LAN driver found under the network section.

You're very welcome.
I doubt it is a BIOS related issue.
