You're very welcome.
Did you install the Intel graphics driver?
That would be the only suggestion I can offer.
Plus, installing this software allows some of the Fn keys to work.
This package contains the HP System Event Utility, which enables special function keys on supported notebook models to be programmed. For example, HP System Event Utility enables users to press the Fn+ESC keys to view system information. This package is provided for supported models running a supported operating system.

Hi:
See if these drivers work...
Ethernet Controller:
This package provides the Realtek Local Area Network (LAN) Driver that enables the Realtek Network Interface Card (NIC) Chip in supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system.
File name: sp71268.exe
PCI Data Acquisition and Signal Processing Controller:
This package contains the driver that enables the Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework firmware. Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework provide system temperature and power utilization information for the system thermal protection to function properly. This package is provided for supported notebook models running a supported operating system.
File name: sp72106.exe
SM Bus Controller: Note: Install this driver first and restart the PC
This package contains the Intel Chipset Installation Utility and Driver for supported notebook models and operating systems. This utility enables the operating system to show the correct name for the installed Intel hardware in the Microsoft Windows Device Manager.
File name: sp72105.exe

Hi Paul.
Many thanks for such a quick reply. I have installed all the three files by following your instrcutions and post that, I don't see the errors any longer under Device Manager for these H/w components however brightness buttons on my laptop (F2 to drcrease/F3 to increase) still don't work.
Can you suggest what could be issue. Thanks for your time and attention on this.
