Welcome to HP Support Forums. 🙂

I understand that you have an HP Photosmart 7510 e-All-in-One Printer and it has stopped printing any text. I'd certainly like to assist you with this case.

I would like to know the following information to assist you better:

  • Is the printer able to make a copy?
  • Any error messages received on the printer or the computer after which the printer stopped to print text?
  • Have you tried to print from multiple applications and checked?

Meanwhile, I recommend you to perform the below steps to isolate and fix the issue:

  • Disconnect the power cable from the printer while the printer is still ON.
  • Disconnect any other cables if connected the printer.
  • Press and hold the printer’s power button for 15 seconds.
  • The printer should be directly connected to the wall outlet and not to a surge protector. Reconnect the power cable to print and the printer should power ON by itself. If the printer doesn’t power ON then please manually power it ON.

Now, please try to print and check. If printer continues to not print then download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor software. This software will detect and fix any print and scan drivers related issue.

I hope this information helps. Feel free to let me know how it goes. All the best! 🙂

Of course, I do everything I can think of but still no black text printing.  So I go to Costco and purchase a new HP printer.  However, hating to give up on the 7525 that I have had for so many years, I clean the cartridges at least five times.  Much to my sorted emotions, it is back to normal.  It's a keeper and the new one is going back to Costco.

We had a power outage the other night.  It messed up the security system.  Maybe that is a coincidence.
