hi i just have a simple question

a year ago maybe i had activated the intel RST disk acceleration and it functions really good .. lately i noticed that my pc starts to become so laggy so i tryed to search why he is doing that so when i entered  the intel RST programme i was surprised that the acceleration is disabled 

i tryed removing the msata ssd i have but the system wasn't able to boot ... so please tell me what can i do to re-enable that

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

 

To resolve this issue, select the preferred option to download and update the driver:

Option 1:Update the driver through Windows Updates.

  1. Connect the computer to the internet.
  2. Click Start.
  3. Select the Settings icon.
  4. Select Update & security.
  5. Select Windows Updates.
  6. Select Check for updates.
  7. Windows Update will download and install the drivers automatically (a restart may be required).
  8. Confirm the driver is updated to version 15.9.6.1044 (or later).
  9. Type Dev ice Manager in the Search field.
  10. Click the + (plus sign) to expand Storage Controllers.
  11. Right-click Intel(R) RST Managed Storage Controller.
  12. Select Properties.
  13. Select the Driver tab.
  14. Confirm version is updated to 15.9.6.1044 (or later).
  15. Perform the Windows upgrade to version 1903 again.

Option 2: Update the driver in Device Manager.

  1. Type Dev ice Manager in the Search field.
  2. Click the + (plus sign) to expand Storage Controllers.
  3. locate Intel(R) RST Managed Storage Controller.
  4. Right-click Intel(R) RST Managed Storage Controller.
  5. Select Update driver.
  6. Click Search automatically for updated driver software.
  7. Follow the on on-screen instructions to update the driver.
  8. When the driver update is complete, confirm the driver is updated.
  9. Right-click Intel(R) RST Managed Storage Controller.
  10. Select Properties.
  11. Select the Driver tab.
  12. Confirm version is updated to 15.9.6.1044 (or later).
  13. Close Device Manager.
  14. Perform the Windows upgrade to version 1903 again.
