I am thinking if we diable the bat file during start up. Will this message not go away?
I also want to ask if the microphone disables too. I also start experiencing having microphone issues. Troubleshotting fixed it by enabling, but is goes back to as of microphione is not turned on. This may be independednt of the AddonOSD issue but it came around the same time. Anyone else in the similar situation?

I have also been trying to connect an EleteDisplay 140u and get the same error message. I have a 2016 Dell XPS laptop with Windows 10. The new display immediately connected, but the images are huge. Adjusting the display text size changes the size of the icons in the system tray, but not the document in the new display. I suspect that the Addon_OSD.exe error message is related to this problem. I spent 4 hours trying to get help from HP. Transferred from consumer products, to the commercial department (India), to Rio Rancho (NM), back to India. No one was familiar with the product and no one could help. Worse, no one seemed to care. Finally they told me that since it is a Dell laptop it must be a compatibility problem between the Dell Windows 10 and the Addon_OSD file. They suggested i give up and return the display to Amazon.
