IM TRYING TO USE SKYPE ,YOUCAM BUT BOTH APPLICATIONS WERE NOT ABLE TO RECOGNISE INBUILT WEBCAM.IRONY IS MY DEVICE MANGER IS NEITHER SHOWING IMAGING DEVICES OPTION NOR A DRIVER IN SOUND,VIDEO AND GAME CONTROLLERS.
PREVIOUSLY IT SHOWED CYBERLINK WEBCAM VIRTUAL DRIVER UNDER SOUND,VIDEO AND GAME CONTROLLERS OPTION AND AGAIN IT WAS OF NO USE SINCE IT WAS NOT HELPFUL FOR VIDEO CALLING APPS IN RECOGNISING IN-BUILT WEBCAM.SO I UNISTALLED IT AFTER LOOKING FOR UPDATES,DISABLE/ENABLE AND EVERYTHING OF THAT SORTS.
I WONDER IF THERE ARE ANY BIOS SETTINGS/REGISTRY SETTINGS THAT NEEDS TO BE ENABLED/CHANGED SUCH THAT IMAGING DEVICES WILL BE SHOWN UP IN DEVICE MANGER OR IS IT THE WEBCAM WHICH IS DEAD.LOOKING FOR A QUICK UPDATE GUYS .ALSO I HAVE USED HP SUPPORT ASSISTANCE WHICH DOEN'T EVEN SHOW INFORMATION RELATED TO IMAGING DEVICES OR VIDEO DRIVERS. ANYKIND OF WORTHFUL FIX IS WELCOMED
