How do i disable my FN function? I want the F keys to work without having to use the FN key at the same time. Everything i have researched said i had to disable it through the BIOS screen but I cannot get that to come upon this laptop.

Hi,
As you mention, the option to toggle the fn key setting should be in the bios menu - if you're having problems accessing this, try the following.
Shutdown the notebook.
Tap away at the esc key as soon as you press the power button to enter the Start-up Menu. If this works Ok, select the Bios option ( f10 ), then make the change shown in the document on the following link.
