Product: Elitebook 1040 G2
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The dispaly brightness buttons on my Elitebook 1040 G2 (F9, F10) stopped working, perhaps with an update but not sure.  I have installed the latest Windows updates and graphics driver, run scannow, DISM, to no avail.  Anybody have a suggestion?

 

OK, I solved it.  I installed the latest HotKey support drivers, which I saw suggested in a recent thread for a different model, and that fixed the issue.
