I am currently troubleshooting about 15 laptop/docking station/dual monitor combinations all with the same issue.  When the laptop is sleeping and then docked the displayport monitor will not wake up.  It has to be unplugged and replugged into the docking station each time.   The second screen plugged in via VGA does wake up as I can move the mouse on it but the DP screen will continue to sleep.

The setup:   Elitebook Folio 1040 G3 docked into a HP 2013 Ultraslim docking station.  2 monitors, both dell, one connected via Displayport the other VGA.  The monitors are some variation of a Dell 1914s.

Steps taken to try and fix:

1)Updated ALL drivers on the computer.

2)Updated Docking station firmware (2.30), bios firmware, monitor firmware.

3)Installed Displaylink and ran the configuration tools.

4)Disabled DDC/Ci on the monitors.

5)Ensured the monitor is set to the DP and not auto select.

6)Installed the monitor drivers to look for additional settings

Nothing I have done has had any change.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
