Product: Hp8470p
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)
Hey,
I have a hp8470p, over 3 years old.
I recently observed a distorted startup screen, where I saw about 2 inches of vertical Grey lines and a overlapping offset of the screen contents. I see two copies of the text offsetted by about an inch. This would disappear after the windows booted up.
This has now become a permanent distortion that does not go away. I have tried reinstalling drivers and have done a factory reset.
I am suspecting an hardware issue, but need to figure out which part.
I'm going to try to plug in a external display to confirm its not an lcd issue.
Please suggest other troubleshooting steps and where I can get this looked at in Paris.
Regards
