Hi:

For the PCI DATA AQUISITION AND SIGNAL PROCESSING CONTROLLER, and PCI MEMORY CONTROLLER, you need this driver:

Intel Chipset Installation Utility

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp101001-101500/sp101171.exe

Restart the PC after installing the driver.

For the PCI device, you need this driver:

Realtek Card Reader Driver

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp96001-96500/sp96384.exe

For the PCI SIMPLE COMMUNICATIONS CONTROLLER, you need this driver:

Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) Driver

If there are multiple instances of the PCI DATA AQUISITION AND SIGNAL PROCESSING CONTROLLER, you will also need this driver:

Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework Client Driver

Hi! Thank for your response. only first one worked. the other  link is not supported by current OS. also if you have any ides about elan eztouchfilter code 10.

You're very welcome.

Try manually installing the drivers for each device.

For example for the Realtek card reader driver, go to the device manager.

Click on the PCI device needing the driver.

Click on the driver tab.  Click on Update driver.

Select the 'Browse my computer for drivers' option and browse to the driver folder that was created when you ran the Realtek card reader driver.

That folder will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp96384.

Make sure that the Include subfolders box is checked and see if the driver installs that way.

Do the same for the rest of the drivers that didn't install but browse to their corresponding sp##### folder.

If you have issues installing drivers, I recommend instead of clean installing W10, use the HP cloud recovery tool to make a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall Windows, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.

Here is an info link for how to use the utility.  You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive for this.

it say's not supported by os version when i tried it updating manually. i'm running out of options here and also there's this ELAN EZTOUCHFILTER CODE 10.😭

Use the Cloud recovery tool to create a bootable USB recovery drive to reinstall Windows.

Thank you. will download the app then buy usb for that and see what happens. is it possible that the screen is the issue for being unable to use the touch screen. HP ENVY X360 CN0003CA is supposed to be touch screen. i am thinking that i am scammed when i bought it.

The product specs indicate that it is supposed to have a touchscreen:

I have yet to figure out what controls the touchscreen as there is no driver for it on any notebook I have ever been familiar with.

You can see that is true for your notebook as well.

If the cloud recovery drive works as it should, and there is no hardware problem with the display, it should get everything to work as designed.
