Does anyone know of a way to get a HP ZBook 17 G2 to duplicate its screen onto a TV or other monitor?  I haven't tried until somewhat recently to do this and my only option is to either display only on the second display or extend to the second display.  I cannot show the same thing on both displays.  This is true on multiple TV's that I have tried and I have used different cables.  I have a display port to HDMI adapter so I can use a HDMI cable and I also have a cable with HDMI on one end Display Port on the other.  In the past I used the later cable with my desktop computer so I know it works with one of the TV's I am trying to duplicate my HP laptop on.

I've done all the updates I can do between Windows 7 and my Firepro M6100 video card.  I try both the AMD software and Windwos 7 to duplicate but neither let me.  I can only extend or use one display.

I never had problems with my Lenovo T61P but it has a Quadro video card.  I have no idea where the issue is with this HP laptop.  I don't want to buy a Quadro video card unless I know it will solve my problem since they are expensive and may result in lower performance.  My most intensive video use is SolidWorks.

Not being able to duplicate screens is problematic enough right now that I am considering upgrading laptops much sooner than anticipated.  Unless I can resolve this issue with software or a video card, I may go back to Lenovo.

Any ideas?
