Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand that you are getting a screen flickering issue, I am glad to assist you.

However, I will need a few details to provide an accurate solution,

If you haven't, please try an alternate monitor to understand if this is either a hardware or a software failure,

And if you don’t have an alternate monitor check if the issue appears on the BIOS screen. (restart the computer and tap on F10 to access BIOS)

Meanwhile:

If the issue happens on BIOS as well then it is a hardware issue.

I request you to contact HP Phone Support for further assistance on this.

If it does not happen BIOS screen, then follow the below steps.

Update the BIOS.

Click here to refer to the document to update the BIOS.

Update the graphics driver from the HP website.

Click here and type the printer serial number to download the drivers for your notebook.

Let me know if that helps.

To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.

Cheers.
