I purchased the HP laptop 17-cn3008ca in Aug 2023 and have hardly used it.  I went to use it one day, and the track pad is stuck down, and it wants to do 50 things at once.  I can't get it unstuck.  It's under warranty I hope.  Has this happened to anyone else?  Full disclosure I am a grown adult and know how to use a computer and track pads so I didn't push too hard on it.  But that's what I looks like someone did.  I am the only one who uses it.

I'd be happy to help you!

Are you able to use your keyboard normally?

Is this issue causing the issue and is the cursor jumping around?
Kindly share the image of the trackpad.

Meanwhile, follow the steps from this document and see if this helps.

Keep me posted for further assistance.
