Product: HP USB 2.0 Docking station

Hi, I've recently purchased a HP USB 2.0 Docking station for my laptop (which runs Windows 10). I've installed the latest drivers and have the docking station up and running, but I can't get the docking station to connect to my external monitor. Is this a known issue and are there any solutions?
