Microsoft Windows 11

Hi everyone,

I'm having a hard time making the Keyboard and touchpad work on this laptop. I tried to install the HP drivers with the exe file, but the exe extracted the files and then nothings happens. So i decided to install the windows drivers. Then, in the device manager almost everything got installed properly except one of the two I2C HID peripherals. So i extracted the exe containing the ELAN TOUCHPAD drivers and updated those. Now both I2C HID peripheral are gone and i have an "Elan Precious touchpad Filter Driver" peripheral showing, but it shows an error code 10 msg. I cannot get it working, updating the driver trying the 3 (Elan driver) .inf files (ETD.inf, ETDHCF.inf, PTFFilter.inf) does not work. This peripheral show a Device Power State D3...

Regarding the keyboard it's kind of strange, because it works perfectly in the bios, and in the device manager everything seems ok, except that i have 5 Keyboard PIH peripherals:

- PIH peripheral 1: on converted portable device control
- PIH peripheral 2: on Intel HID Event Filter
- PIH peripheral 3: on USB Input peripheral
- PIH peripheral 4: on Logitech USB Input Device
- PIH peripheral 5: on GPIO button's driver
(which don't show any error msg though)

and a standard PS2 keyboard: plugged into keyboard port

But in windows the keyboard isn't working. And the F5 amber led is on.

A detail: i replaced the LCD using a non HP part. After the windows drivers installation, the touch screen works perfectly, though. Could this peripheral controller be messing up the other input devices ?

I would really apreciate any help, as i spent a tremendous amount of time trying to solve this issue and now I have the impession i tried pretty much i can think of.

Cheers
