Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi  Until recently if i decided to cast a film straight from my laptop to my LG TV it worked fine  films are in wide screen and the film would appear on the tv screen in wide screen   but recently since i did a complete rest of my laptop  any film i try and cast to the tv is now in narrow view or square  like old TVs before wide screen. I cant find any settings anywhere that i can adjust to make it wide screen and there is nothing on the tv to be able to adjust it. Any ideas welcome
