When you connect an external monitor via the connector VGA, I can not choose a native resolution of 1680x1050 for an external monitor using the standard HP driver.
I appealed for help to support HP, case number 4775691629. Technical Support Officer was unable to help me, it has no jurisdiction in this matter. After telling me that this resolution is not supported by the integrated video card
saying that the hardware graphics card does not support this resolution , but it's not really the problem lies in the fact that this resolution is not supported by the standard HP drivers.
If you want to solve a similar problem, just download the official driver for the Intel HD Graphics 520 video card with intel.com site and reinstall the driver for your graphics card to display additional properties will be more standard resolutions.
It is unfortunate that technical support could not help me in this matter. I hope the level of competence and hung on the next call.
