After an automatic bios update my touchpad is completely disabled. I have tried all of the troubleshooting options from HPs website such as resetting windows (and a full windows reinstall), doing a bios reset, changing the PCI express and USB to off in the power options, and updating to the latest drivers, etc, but none of them have worked. When a wireless mouse is plugged in the cursor is fine. Any help would be much appreciated.

As an update, I have just reverted back to the original bios version and it seems to have fixed the problem. I'll not question why it worked but it did 🙂
