Hello Everyone!

 

Its been 5 hours since i have started using my brand new HP Pavilion x360 u004tu, and it's touchcreen has started misbehaving. By this i mean there is an invisible line about 1.5 inches from the left margin of the screen on which suddenly a lot of touch marks appear and the screen starts taking these bizarre inputs. Then so many things open on the screen interrupting my work. I even tried to turn off and then on the touchscreen. But this problem has persisted.

 

WHat could be the possible cause for this? is the screen defective?

 

What should I do? Should i send back the laptop or is there any driver etc whose installation might help me in troubleshooting this issue.
