HP Envy
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,  I just purchased the Asus Zenscreen MB16ace portable monitor for use with my HP Envy m7-u109dx laptop.  The monitor displayed "DP Alt Mode" message.  I downloaded the driver package from Asus, but my HP displayed a message saying it already has the 4.5 framework, or higher.  I've tried all ports, including the USB-C with no luck.  I am really hoping to find a solution to run this external monitor on this HP!  Thanks.

The specs of your machine is

It does not have USB-C port which supports Alt mode. Your monitor USB-C is not compatible with USB-C port on your machine, you can use HDMI port (but your monitor does not have HDMI port) USB-C to HDMI from the monitor end MAY work.

Regards.

Hello Banhien,

Thanks for the info.  Unfortunately, the Asus monitor does not have a HDMI port.  Are you suggesting there is an HDMI to USB-C adapter which might work?
