HP Stream Notebook 11-d007na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have carried out a full clean install of Windows 10 1703 build 15063.250 on one of my HP Stream Notebooks 11-d007na's. Bios version F.07. I have installed the missing drivers highlighted in device manager and everything seems to work fine apart from the touchpad. I have tried to install the Synaptics_v19_0_19_1__C__x86-x64_Win10__Signed__MS_Win10_UXUIHID_I2C File from the Synaptics website and the file SP71867 from the HP website without success. No hardware appears in Device Manager and no Synaptics software installs.

My other Stream on W10 1607 has Synaptics Clickpad V2.0 installed using driver 19.2.4.10 and Bios version F.08.

I have been searching on the internet but have found similar people with the same issue on different machines. Some indacate it is a Windows 10 issue and others a manufacturer issue?

Could someone please advise me which direction to take.

I had alredy installed that driver so I did not think of doing it again. Thank you.

Do you have any tips on installing the Synaptics touch pad programme. I have done it before but It dosen't want to install this time even though I followed the same steps that I used on my other notebook. It could have been that that wiped my original driver?
