My keyboard has been misbehaving lately but 2 days ago a grey, transparent band appeared at the bottom of the screen and nonsense characters in black boxes appear when I type. These characters are unrelated to the actual keys pressed.
How do I get rid of this, as it obscures messages and buttons in applications I'm using?
I have shutdown and restarted my notebook but these still return. Any help would be appreciated.
