Hi @Whiskers123,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To turn off the Dynamic Contrast Ratio flashing on your screen, you can follow these steps depending on your system's configuration:

  • For NVIDIA Graphics: Right-click your desktop, select the NVIDIA Control Panel, go to 'Adjust Video Color Settings', and check the setting 'With NVIDIA Settings' using full dynamic range. You should disable 'dynamic contrast enhancement' and then restart your PC.
  • For Intel Graphics: Start the "Intel Graphics Control Panel" app, click on the "Power" icon at the bottom, then click the "On battery" option to the left and click the "Disable" checkbox under the "Display power-saving technology". If HDR is enabled on your system, you may also need to disable it through PC Settings => System => Display => Use HDR OFF.
  • Windows 10 Settings (for supported devices): Open the Settings app, go to System > Display. You should turn off the options labeled "Change brightness automatically when lighting changes" and "Automatically adjust contrast based on the displayed content to help improve battery" to disable automatic contrast adjustment. Please note, these options appear only on laptops and tablets that support Content Adaptive Brightness Control (CABC), and they may not show up if you're connected to an external monitor.
  • Remember, the availability of these settings can depend on your specific hardware and drivers, so if you don't see the options mentioned above, you might need to check if there are any specific settings or updates for your device's display driver or graphics control panel.

Please help us with the Printer serial number or the product number on a private message for further assistance.
