HP Recommended

I have a new EliteBook laptop.  Nearly every time I type the letter 't' or 'y' the cursor moves.  (for the previous sentence, the cursor moved to between the l and i in Elite when I typed ty in the word "typed").  It is very annoying.  I do not think I am hitting the mousepad as I reach for these letters.    As this is a new computer, it has not had anything spilled on it nor has it had any (known to me) bumps or bangs. 

 

Any thoughts?
