HP EliteBook 2740p
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have several HP Elite Book 2740 that have an HP un2420 mobile broadband module in them that at one time was connecting to the Verizon wireless network.  For some reason (can say what that is because the device was brought to me not working) it no longer can.  I'm using the current Access manager from Verizon and event tried the HP access manager but nothing seems to work. When I open ether access manager I get signal strength shown in the access manager but when I try to connect to the network it fails.  The error that I'm getting says that it's not been activated so I contacted Verizon support on this issue two time and each time I was forwarded to then next level of tech support but each time it get the same results.  No connection.

I'm hoping that someone has run into this issue already and has an answer or can make some suggestions.

thanks
