Hi:

See if installing this driver for that wifi adapter resolves the problem.

This package contains drivers required to enable functionality of the Intel Wireless LAN adapter on supported notebooks with supported operating systems.

Hi:

What model wireless network adapter does your notebook have?

If you don't know, go to the device manager and click to expand the Network Adapters device manager category.

There you will find the name and model number of the wireless network adapter.

I have Intel(R) WiFi Link 1000 BGN and Microsoft Virtual WiFI Miniport Adapter. I looked at the adapter setting and the interent is connected to the intel one and not the microsoft one

@tpdavid

Please right click on the intel adapter and choose uninstall.. Now, restart the computer and check again .

If you are facing the same issue , then check if the computer has any anti virus program installed. If there is any , then please disable the firewall and then check , if you are able to use the internet.

If that also not working. then you will have to update the network driver from hp.com.

Please let me know, if any of this solutions has helped you.

Regards,

Ashok
