Hi,
We have a large numbe of HP ProBook 430 G3's in use with students, and have an issue where if the wireless/wifi button is pressed (it's next to the mute button, so easy to press) then Windows 7 disables the wireless adapter and even after pressing the button again the wifi doesn't want to enable again.
Because all the laptops login via a domain controller, once wireless is off the laptop can't be used until an administrator logs into it and enables wireless again.
This is very disruptinve to a class!
Other than a piece of gaffa tape, can anybody suggest a way I might be able to disable the harware Wireless/wifi button so students can't accidentially turn the wifi off?
Thanks
