Product: HP-15-ac151sa Energy Star
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi

 

I have a HP-15-ac151sa which i recently changed the operating system from windows 10 to windows 7 home 64.

Clean install on new disc.

 

Since changing the operating system i cannot find the correct driver for the wirless network driver which worked perfectly under win10.

 

I have tried numerous drivers from the HP driver website to no avail.

 

In the Device Manager the controller is listed as

 

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_3165&SUBSYS_40108086&REV_81
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_3165&SUBSYS_40108086
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_3165&CC_028000
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_3165&CC_0280

 

Any help with this will be much appreciated as its very frustrating as nothing is working.

If it does not work install the first one in the list.

Thanks for the reply.

 

strange as driver states Windows 32 & 64bit but when i run it, it aborts saying my OS needs to be 32bit?

Hi, Yes, tried drivers but both abort due to OS not being 32bit. Strange as description states 32&64bit.
