Driver setup Installation not Starting after Extraction

Hi

I've just installed Windows 7 Ultimate 32 Bit OS. After the installation, I downloaded all the required driver Setup files from the HP's website.

All the drivers were installed fine, except the Wifi adapter.

When I start installing the wifi driver, after the file extraction in 'Swsetup' folder in C drive, installation does not start. I don't know what to do.

Please help.

Are you installing the right drivers?

The parts list indicates that your notebook comes with the Atheros 9485GN 802.11b/g/n 1x1 WiFi and 3012 Bluetooth 4.0 combination adapter, so these would be the drivers you need for the wireless and bluetooth...

At HP's website, they were giving me option to download Ralink wifi adapter. I'll download the files that you've provided and  see if it installs without any fuss.

And if I have any problem, I'll let you know.
